We are pleased to confirm 1-2 October 2022 as the re-scheduled Play Safe weekend.
We trust that getting this weekend back on so quickly supports all County FAs, clubs and leagues across the game to maintain the momentum that had been built up. We have seen several excellent activations already, and together, lets re-energise our efforts to deliver even more up and down the country.
If you haven’t done so yet please download the assets shown below and use them to promote and celebrate Play Safe in and around the 1-2 October weekend. Where you can please make use of the campaign hashtag #PlaySafe.
Download ready-made assets here: https://we.tl/t-tsDSvRnWIq
The assets include a campaign video, an editorial template you can use for your website and to create social posts. It also includes a PowerPoint version of a social post and a poster into which you can embed your badge and/or imagery included. If you use any of your own pics to replace those we have supplied, please ensure you have the correct consents in place.
Download assets you can edit here: https://we.tl/t-MkkXiZ3jGY
Because it contains editable artwork files, this link takes a little while to download. There’s a guidance doc in there to explain to how make edits. If you use any of your own pics to replace those we have supplied, please ensure you have the correct consents in place.
And at the end of this link: https://The-FA.com/qarmHY are some tips on supporting the campaign and guidance on social media postings.
Whilst we fully respect it is the start of Black History Month, we trust that Play Safe can happily coexist with this at the start of October.
