UNDER 10S CUP WINNERS!!

Our under 10's Lordswood Youth Tigers team have won the 2024 Cup. We would like to congratulate the whole team on there amazing performance

GRANT AWARDED

Congratulations to Lordswood Youth FC, who have just been awarded Grass Pitch Maintenance Funding from the Football Foundation to improve their seven grass pitches with the investment totalling £61,440.

ANOTHER  GRANT AWARDED

The club have also been successful with an application to the Premier League Defibrillator Fund for an AED to be installed on site providing critical access to life saving equipment should the need arise.

With the continued success of the LYFC Soccer School, comes the need to double down and invest yet more resources into the very heart of the club.

SILENT SUPPORT WEEKEND - SUNDAY 6TH NOVEMBER 2022

What to do at the Silent Weekend?

• Allow players to make mistakes

• Allow players to make their own decisions

• Applaud good play and effort from either team


What are the benefits of the Silent Weekend?

• Players can concentrate on the game and not be distracted by the touchline

• Players develop independent learning and decision-making

• Coaches can assess the teams’ communication skills

Join us on the 5th & 6th November 2022 and find out what happens when we turn the volume down for the players on the pitch.

The new sign for our home ground pitches, at the main entrance to the Lordswood Leisure Centre grounds, highlights the connection with local area and the community at large.

With pride, the sign was erected in June 2021.
